Serena Sandhu

Serena is a senior solicitor within our Family department. She has a wealth of experience in all aspects of family law and her work includes:

• Dealing with disputes arising from divorce and separation [involving complex assets and contested jurisdiction].
• Acting for parents and grandparents in matters relating to arrangements for children, and with particular expertise in dealing with cases involving domestic abuse, high level of conflict, and international relocation.
• Drafting pre and post nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.
• Assisting and obtaining emergency injunctions and protective orders.

Serena has a keen interest and expertise in private children matters, particularly those involving a fact finding hearing, child abduction and/or have an international element.

She is sharp, determined and prides herself on a pragmatic and proportionate approach. She is committed to working constructively with other lawyers to achieve a resolution, however in the cases that require it, she is known for a no nonsense, robust approach. The priority is listening to the client’s needs and objectives before working hard to achieve the best outcome which is right and fair for the client.

Clients praise her attention to detail. She is considered to be unique in her field and is highly regarded for her care and attention, both to the case and the individual client. She is often commended for going above and beyond ordinary expectations and is well known for her commitment and determination in each individual matter.
