Elly joined Hopkin Murray Beskine in July 2022 and is currently undertaking her training contract in our private family department, assisting with a variety of family law matters.
Experience:
Elly studied her undergraduate degree at Bournemouth University and then completed the Legal Practice Course in 2024, having studied part-time alongside her work at Hopkin Murray Beskine.
Between July 2022 and June 2024, Elly was assisting the public child care department, acting for parents with matters brought about through the involvement of a Local Authority, including pre proceeding child protection, care proceedings and domestic abuse. She has experience of working with vulnerable clients with mental health issues and substance misuse.
Since joining the private family department, she has been dealing with divorce, finances, private children matters, and non-molestation order and occupation order applications.
Elly understands how personal and sometimes upsetting it can be for our clients who are navigating family conflicts. She has an empathetic and calm approach that is tailored to each individual client.

Elly was nominated for the Hertfordshire Junior Lawyer 2024 at the Hertfordshire Law Society Annual Awards Ceremony.
