Hopkin Murray Beskine secures new legal aid contract

Hopkin Murray Beskine is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a new Legal Aid contract in the recent bid round. This enables the firm to continue to deliver services to legally aided clients in housing, public law and family law from September 2024.

Hopkin Murray Beskine has a proud history of assisting clients requiring advice and representation under the Legal Aid scheme, and continues to assist a wide range of clients under the scheme. This includes acting for clients eligible for legal aid in possession and eviction cases, claims for illegal eviction, homelessness matters, judicial review, and some housing conditions claims.

Legal aid also remains available for some family law matters, including care and adoption proceedings, domestic violence and abuse, and international child abduction.
