Hopkin Murray Beskine’s Serena Sandhu receives Bertha Cave award

Hopkin Murray Beskine is extremely proud to announce that Serena Kaur Sandhu, Director and Senior Family Solicitor, is the recipient of the prestigious Bertha Cave Award which recognises and celebrates women’s progression in the profession.

The original Bertha Cave found her path to becoming a barrister was blocked because she was a woman in the field.

The Kent Law Society presented the award to Serena, fittingly on International Women’s Day, Friday 8 March 2024.

The presentation included a testament to the significant impact Serena has made. She was recognised as a “role model” “excellent”, “professional, committed, caring”, and “inspirational, holding the ladder steady for juniors”.

She was celebrated for her outstanding determination in raising awareness within the Asian community, and in particular providing advice in respect to the protection of Asian gold and the importance of pre-nuptial and post nuptial agreements.
