Sarah Bold

Sarah Bold has worked as a solicitor for over 20 years and is a specialist family lawyer. She has particular expertise in representing parents, children and extended family members involved in care proceedings, almost invariably undertaking her own advocacy at Court, including the High Court. She also acts for parents and children in private disputes as well as handling a small number of related divorce and financial cases.

She is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel and an Advanced Member of the Family Panel. She is also accredited as a specialist Family lawyer by Resolution, an association of family lawyers committed to resolving family disputes in a non-confrontational atmosphere. To this end she has trained and qualified as a family mediator and also as a Collaborative Lawyer, a new initiative which endeavours to help parents involved in financial and children disputes reach agreement through co-operative negotiation, without having to go to Court.

After running her own firm of family solicitors for several years, Sarah joined Hopkin Murray Beskine as a senior solicitor in 2005.
